Cancellation

How to cancel your policy.

If the firm / adviser decides to stop providing the agreed services (either initial and / or ongoing) to a client, that client will be informed in writing within 5 business days of the decision being made. This written communication will be sent via post and email.
At anytime, without penalty, a client may request the firm / adviser to stop providing any agreed services (either initial and / or ongoing). Any such requests must be made in writing either by email and sent to enquiries@foundationfp.com or via post to our registered address, 2nd Floor, 38-42A South Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 4LA.

However, any outstanding payments for services already provided prior to any request being received will be due.
Upon receipt of a client’s instructions to cancel ongoing services, if relevant:
The refund of any payments made in advance for ongoing services that are no longer to be provided, will be made. This refund will be made via cheque within 5 business days of receiving the client’s instructions.

If future payments for any ongoing services that are no longer to be provided are received, the relevant payment(s) will be refunded to the client via cheque. Any refunds will be forwarded to the client within 10 business days of receiving the actual payment.
Records of any refunds made will be retained.

TERMINATION OF AUTHORITY
You or we may terminate our authority to act on your behalf at any time without penalty. Notice of this termination must be given in writing and will take effect from the date of receipt. Termination is without prejudice to any transactions already initiated, which will be completed according to the Client Agreement unless otherwise agreed in writing. You will be liable to pay for any transactions made or carried out prior to termination and any fees that may be outstanding.
RIGHT TO WITHDRAW

In the case of many packaged investment products – such as life assurance contracts, personal pension schemes, investment bonds, and collective investment arrangements (e.g. unit trusts) – a right to withdraw or cancel the contract within a specified period is normally provided. Details of such rights are ordinarily contained in the product literature (e.g. Key Features Document) which you receive with our Investment Recommendations document, and/or we may provide details of such rights in a separate communication.

In the case of a non-packaged product recommended (e.g. a direct equity ISA), we will inform you in writing of any right to withdraw or cancel you may have or, if it is the case, we will inform you in writing that no such rights will apply.

CLIENT RISK
You are advised that because investments can fall as well as rise, you may not get back the full amount invested. Past performance is not a guide to future performance.
